Create a List

This article will guide you on how to list a collection of your subscribers.

1) Log into your MailBlast management panel according to the URL that provided in the welcome email.

2) Click "create a list" under Getting Started area (First time access)

OR

Select List > Manage Lists > Add (Create your second list)

A) General:

Name of Newsletter: Your List Name (ex: Existing clients list)
Subscription Notification Email: (Seperate multiple emails by comma, semicolon or space)
Unsubscription notification email: (Seperate multiple emails by comma, semicolon or space)
Do not show in public section (Advise to tick this option)

B) Opt-In/Opt-Out > Add New

Notes: Opt-In/Out settings allow you to confirm that the email address attempting to subscribe actually is the owner of the address. When turned on, a message (that you specify) will be sent to the potential subscriber's email address. This email contains a link that the subscriber must click on for the email address to be subscribed. If the link is not clicked on, the email will not be part of the list

C) Bounce Settings > Add New

Notes: Method to deal With bounced e-mails

a) No Bounced E-mail Management (Default)
Bounced E-mail Messages will be sent to the From sender of the mailing.

No configuration is needed.
Example: You blasted out the email using info@abc.com, all bounce back email will return to info@abc.com

b) Pipe from Email Address

You can have the mail server immediately forward email to the script that records it as bounced.

c) Use POP3 Account

(i) For normal email account under your domain name:
POP E-mail Address: Full email address
POP Host: mail.domain.com
POP Port: default is 110
POP Username: Full email address
POP Password: same
Number of emails to process at one time: default is 120
Number of times an address may soft bounce before being removed:

default is 6

Number of times an address may hard bounce before being removed:

default is 3

(ii) For third party email: Gmail
POP E-mail Address: Full Gmail address
POP Host: ssl://pop.gmail.com
POP Port: 995
POP Username: Full Gmail address
POP Password: same
Number of emails to process at one time: default is 120
Number of times an address may soft bounce before being removed:

default is 6

Number of times an address may hard bounce before being removed:

default is 3

d) External
- Google Analytics tracking.
- Set Notification Service using Twitter account.
